Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful and restful Christmas break! The spring semester is focused on the Annual Dance recital! Attendance is critical this semester, so please be early to class. Dancers MUST wear a leotard, tights, and the correct dance shoes. If you need tights, we have some in stock at the studio for $7 a pair. Your dancer’s hair MUST be pulled out of the face. We are looking forward to WORKING HARD (because that’s the theme of the recital!🤣) this semester!

November is here! Please read this newsletter to the very end as it has important information and updates relating to the Christmas recital. If your student needs tights, we have a stock at the studio! They are $7 a pair. 

The studio has tickets for the Chamber of Commerce’s 32nd Annual Toy Drive! If you would like to donate a toy and need a ticket, grab one from the studio! Tickets are located on the front desk. If you have any questions about this, please ask us! 

We would like to thank Seth King, dad of Reagan King in the Strawberries class (Monday K-2nd) for fixing our bathroom door! We appreciate you!

Newsletter for October 2025

Happy October! We’ve got a few fun things planned for October! We’ve been in classes for a little over a month, so here are just a few reminders!

-Dance wear is mandatory. This includes tights, leotard, and the proper dance shoes. 

-Hair needs to be pulled up out of the face. If your dancer does not have their hair pulled out of their face, a rubber band will be provided for that day.

-Please be at the studio 5-10 minutes before your dancer’s class starts.

🎃October 7th: National Night Out! Join Dance Fusion at National Night Out! Visit our table and support The Fuse at their first performance of the year!

🎃October 25th-30th Halloween Dress Up Week! Dancers can wear their costumes to class this week! Please still wear tights and bring their dance shoes. Any dresses will need privacy shorts underneath.

Welcome to Dance Fusion! We are so excited to be back for another year! This is the 18th season for the studio, which means we are old enough to graduate!!! We are honored to be a member of the community and your local dance studio for 18 years. These newsletters are sent out the first day of each month and include important information about dates, studio birthdays, dancer achievements outside of the studio, prayer requests, and recital information. Happy New Year! We hope you’ve had a wonderful holiday season. We can’t wait to come back for the spring semester and get ready for the 17th Annual Dance Recital!

Just a few reminders as we get back to our normal routine:

-Leotard and tights are required for every class. 

-Dancers may wear a fitted shirt to class, but baggy shirts and sweatshirts are no longer permitted during class. How we dress indicates how we learn!

-Hair needs to be pulled up out of the face. Should your dancer not have their hair up, a rubber band may be provided at the beginning of the class.

Happy October!! We’ve had such a wonderful start to the dance year! We are so blessed to have each of you as a part of the Dance Fusion family! As we move forward, we wanted to share some important dates and reminders.

Dates:

🎃October 1st: National Night Out

Location: Alvarado City Square

Time: 6:45

The Fuse, Dance Fusion’s Performance group, will have their first performance of the year at the Alvarado National Night Out! Come out and support our Dance Fusion Family and enjoy National Night Out. For details of the actual event, visit the Alvarado website or the City Facebook page! 

🎃October 22: Indian Friends Reading Day 

Location: Alvarado Elementary North

Time: 8 a.m.

We are excited to be a part of this fun program the district hosts! Members of the community can volunteer to read for different classes at the designated campus. This time, we will be AEN. If you would like to join us, we would love for you to come represent the Dance Fusion Family!

Time: Your Student’s Class Time

Students can come to class wearing a costume! Wearing costumes is completely optional. If you choose to wear a costume during class, be sure to wear shorts under any dresses or skirts and bring your dance shoes.

There will be no classes on Thursday, October 31st. Have fun and stay safe!

Where We've Been and What's to Come

Hello everyone! We had such a wonderful fall semester filled with love and laughter! We started the year by bringing some of our friends to dance class and sharing our Halloween costumes with our dance friends. In November, we enjoyed our first Thanksgiving feast with the families of Dance Fusion. We wrapped up the year with our Christmas party and ornament exchange! Of course the year was filled with lots of dancing and new friendships! This semester, we look forward to the celebration of our 15th recital! We are so thankful for our families and can’t wait to see what’s in store for Spring 2023!
